Sweet November

November has been sweet. Being able to do what I love with the love and support of my family, there's nothing quite like the feeling. Not a day goes by where I don't think of how blessed I am to live the life that I live. To have an amazing man, who fully loves me for me. To have a wonderful baby boy, who looks at me every day with eyes of absolute love, admiration and trust. There's times when I wonder if I'm dreaming, or is this really my life? Each and every day, I look at those around me and realize that it is not a dream, but a dream come true.

Paradise City

Take me back, take me back to paradise...

Recently, my family hit the road to spend a week in a paradise known as Rosemary Beach/Alys Beach. Let me just say, it was pure magic! If you've never been, you should take a visit. The architecture is impeccable and the vibe is even better. Rad images just come easy with a shoot location like this and it doesn't hurt to have your love behind the lens (becoming quite the awesome photographer). Honest, this was the best vacation to date, why, you may ask?! Well because it was our baby boy, Axel's first vacay and we just had a blast! He loved the sand, sun, and people watching, because let me be real...my son is a little nosy boy. His curiosity is one of my favorite things. Be curious, my darlin'! Mama is curious too. Look at the world, appreciate it and be your true self, always.

The following looks were inspired by my surroundings and the happiness from within. Enjoy!

Versatile

One top. Two ways.
In my most recent blog post titled "G R O W T H", this same top was worn, just another way. Funny enough, that way was backwards. For me, I love clothing that can be versatile. As a breastfeeding mama, I need to be able to cover up at times, and other times I need some easy access to the "TATAS". Hehe!
Since I am currently still breastfeeding, a brassiere is a must. You can always show a little "modesty" by rocking a bra under a low cut top such as this one.
This Bare Anthology top is perfect for whatever I need. Any occasion, I can dress it up or dress it down. It really doesn't get much better than that, right?
To create an urban vibe, which is what I'm all about, pair this killer top with a great pair of black and white striped trousers like these from ROMWE. Throw on some boots and a turban headband like this one from I'm With The Band, and you're good to go!

G R O W T H

Becoming a mother has caused for me to grow so much as a woman. It has given me the patience that I need in all aspects of life, and an indescribable amount of drive to continue to follow my dreams. My goal as a mother, is to raise my son with that kind of mindset. I want to always encourage him to follow his dreams, to find out what he loves and to encourage him to give it his all, no matter what. Whatever he chooses to be in life, we will be there to support him. If he comes to us one day and says "mom, dad, I want to move to New York City, we will pack up and move there as a family, all for him to be able to follow his dreams. I want to teach him that sometimes, when following a dream, there will be highs and lows, struggles and satisfactions, but all in all, if you're doing what you love, that's all that matters. That's a lesson that I still have trouble with from time to time. As a blogger, I find myself wrapped up in the things that don't matter, at times. Whether it be the amount of likes that I received on a photo, if someone "followed" or "unfollowed" me, or if there is a slow pace of improvement on followers gained on Instagram. These things don't matter, but I find myself over-analyzing these things from time to time and that's something that I'm working on for myself. What matters most of all is the love from my family. Putting my baby boy to sleep every night and waking up to those big blue eyes every morning, that's what matters. Being in the arms of the one I love, that's what matters. Knowing that my family is happy and healthy, that's what matters. Everything else doesn't even come close.

Until next time...
